Suntan introduces the TS13DE - CD11OX series of radial leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors.  What's radial capacitors ? Radial capacitors have two leads which stick out from the bottom of the capacitor. They are a different configuration to axial capacitors in that sense because axial have one lead that sticks out from either end.

By improving material technology, Suntan has been able to increase lifetime to 2,000 hours at 85°C—over previous generation products and also improve capacitance tolerance. These capacitors are suitable for switching mode adapters, line noise removal and other products with long lifetime requirements

An electrolytic capacitor is a type of capacitor that uses an electrolyte (an ionic conducting liquid) as one of its plates to achieve a larger capacitance per unit volume than other types, but with performance disadvantages. All capacitors conduct alternating current (AC) and block direct current (DC) and can be used, amongst other applications, to couple circuit blocks allowing AC signals to be transferred while blocking DC power, to store energy, and to filter signals according to their frequency. Although most electrolytic capacitors are polarized; hence, they can only be operated with direct current (DC). The large capacitance of electrolytic capacitors makes them particularly suitable for passing or bypassing low-frequency signals and storing large amounts of energy. They are widely used in power supplies and for decoupling unwanted AC components from DC power connections.

Silver Mica Capacitors Knowledge

Silver mica capacitors are high precision high stability high reliability capacitors. They are available in small values, and are mostly used at high frequencies.

Mica capacitors, which are now obsolete, were in use in the early 20th century. They consisted of sheets of mica and copper foil sandwiched together and clamped.

Silver mica capacitors, also known as silvered mica capacitors, obsoleted mica capacitors. Instead of being clamped with foils these use sheets of mica coated on both sides with deposited metal. The assembly is dipped in epoxy. The advantages are:

X2-MPX Capacitor, metallized polypropylene capacitors are ideal for filters, power supplies applications.
 
Classes X1, X2, and Y were originally defined by the IEC in IEC 60384-14.  CENELEC has adopted EN 132400 (technically equivalent to, but structurally different from IEC 384-14 2nd edition), which now defines seven classes of line-filter capacitors.  Class X1 capacitors are impulse tested to 4 kV (higher for capacitors over 1.0 uF).  Class X2 capacitors are impulse tested to 2.5 kV (higher for capacitors over 1.0 uF).  Capacitors conforming to IEC60384-14 normally also conform to EN132400, and vice versa, and should be accepted in all European countries.

Also referred to as a condenser, a capacitor is a passive electrical component widely used to store electricity as an electrical charge. 
There are many types of capacitors available on the market. You can find very small ones available as capacitor beads utilized in resonance circuits. 
Large power factor correction capacitors are also available from very small to huge capacitors and everything in between, you would find a wide range of capacitors. However, they all serve one function and that is to store electrical charge.
 
The simplest type of capacitor available consists of 2 parallel conductive plates. These plates are separated via dielectric, an insulating material. 
This insulating layer interrupts the flow of DC current via the capacitor. Instead of DC current, a voltage across the plates is present in the form of an electrical charge.
Conductive plates are available in various shapes such as circular, cylindrical and rectangular. The insulating layer is either in the form of waxed paper, Air, Plastic or even in certain type of liquid gel. 
 
Electrical charge can be of two types namely positive and negative. Positive charge is present in the form of protons and negative charge in the form of electrons. The positive charge collects on a plate as soon as a voltage is placed across a capacitor. This is followed by a corresponding negative charge accumulation on the other plate. For each particle of positive charge a mining at one plate, a charge from similar will depart from- ve plate. The plates charge neutral. This is a potential different obtained from charge existing between two plates. The amount of charge that was deposited on the plates and the amount of capacitance the capacitor posses.
Capacitance is defined as the electrical property of a capacitor. It is the measure of the ability of capacitors for storing an electrical charge on two plates. In case, a voltage of (V) volts is connected across 2 plates capacitors, a positive electrical charge (2) will be present on one plate in coulombs and a negative charge on the other.This indicates that the capacitor will possess a capacitance valve equivalent to the amount of charge divided by voltage running across. This will proved the capacitance equation of (C=QV).

A good capacitor will have high dielectric resistance as well as zero plate resistance. This results in the charge flowing across the plates remaining constant for an indefinite period of time as soon as the source voltage was removed.
