The detection of a SMD Diode can see the identification of both positive and negative poles by the casing of the SMD Diode. If the mark on the casing is worn out, the multimeter can be use to identify which Diode that you need. 

Judging the performance can be another identification method. The performance usually carried out in an open state, which means away from the circuit board. There will be only either large or small of the result of the resistance value.  

Suntan SMD Rectifier M1-M7 general rectifier are made of plastic package which carries Underwriters Laboratory Flammability Classification 94V-0.
It is low reverse leakage and high forward surge current capability.
